About Mick
Hi, I'm Mick, an independent working professional, a wife and mom, a frustrated writer, a coffee snob and a jewelry designer.
I was so stressed out before I began designing jewelry. I was up at 3:00 a.m. nearly every morning thinking about what meetings I had the next day and what deadlines were coming up. And then, one weekend, I was at Starbucks, drinking a dry cappuccino. I reached for the book I was reading, The Poisonwood Bible, and as I turned my wrist to reach the book, the bracelet I was wearing snapped…for the third time.
Frustrated, I gathered up the murano glass triangles of my favorite bracelet, borrowed a phone book and found a bead store nearby. I drove right there and asked them to just teach me what to do and I would fix it MYSELF. I did, and it was fun. And it didn’t break again!
They warned me then, that I might get hooked. I thought, no way, but sure enough…..
So now I am hooked, I sleep through the night, and I love creating unique, custom pieces that you will thoroughly enjoy and want to wear everywhere. Each fabulous piece is a one-of-a-kind stone design – which I will never replicate, so you will have the only one that will ever exist!
I use .925 sterling silver wire and semi-precious stones, along with the most outstanding bali silver beads, toggles and pendants from Bali, Indonesia; Turkey and Thailand.
Contact me for a copy of my Custom Jewelry Style Profile Form, so I can learn all about your taste - whether you like styles that are bold, dramatic or delicate, and create a custom piece to match your personality and your favorite earrings, skinny jeans or weekend outfit!
Also, by indulging in the most unique piece of jewelry you have ever owned, you will be helping contribute to make our communities better, safer and healthier. I am committed to giving back – Tikkun Olam – making the world a better place, so I will contribute 10% of the net proceeds of every piece sold, to a charity of your choice from a select group that is meaningful to me!
And of course, it goes without saying, that you will also be contributing to a good night’s sleep!
I look forward to working with you!
